GMYN is recruiting for a Youth Advocacy Lead

July 24th, 2026

We are looking for a Youth Advocacy Lead to develop and deliver We Rise, an exciting new project working alongside care-experienced and separated young people to help transform housing and accommodation across Greater Manchester.

Alongside project delivery, you will play a key role in embedding self-advocacy across GMYN, supporting young people to understand their rights, build confidence and influence the decisions affecting their lives. You will also help colleagues develop advocacy as part of everyday practice and build strong relationships with partners across the region.

This is a wide-ranging role combining direct work with young people, advocacy practice, organisational development and systems change. You will support young people to lead social action projects, influence regional housing reform and develop as the next generation of youth leaders.

If you have experience of advocacy, participation and working alongside young people and communities to create positive change, you will find a rewarding opportunity.

Deadline to apply: Monday 17th August – 9am
