Celebrating our supporters who raised £4,493 running the Great Manchester Run 10k

May 29th, 2024

We would like to wholeheartedly thank every single person who ran for #TeamGMYN in the Great Manchester Run 10k.

The support GMYN has received this year is astounding! An incredible group of fundraisers have rallied together to support us including staff members, young people, long-standing partners and partners brand-new to GMYN.

Thanks to you, you have managed to raise a whopping £4,493!

All the hard work and determination from those that have raised money for us will enable GMYN to continue delivering vital services for vulnerable young people in our community and change their lives for the better.

A massive thank you to everyone who took part, including one of our young people Josh who entered the run to raise funds for GMYN. He ran the 10k in 44 minutes and raised £122 – thank you for your support Josh!

Alex Fairweather, our CEO, says: “Thanks everyone for all of your support! You’ve done an amazing job and all the team at GMYN really appreciate your hard work. You should all be very proud.”

The fundraising link is still open for anyone that wants to congratulate our amazing runners, please find the donation page here. Every penny of sponsorship makes a massive difference to the young people we support.
