Announcing our new three year strategic plan

August 29th, 2024

We are very proud to share our new strategic plan, detailing our aims and objectives for the next three years.

This new strategy has been created by our staff, trustees but more importantly our young people. We will be focussing on growing and developing what we do well already, but also trying new approaches and ideas.

GMYN will continue to provide vital support for young people who face particular challenges, including:

·      Care leavers and cared for young people.
·      Young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.
·      Disabled and neurodiverse young people.
·      Young refugees and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children.
·      Young people who are not ready for work.

Our aim is to continue ensuring #YoungPeopleCan, by giving them opportunities to:

·      Improve their wellbeing.
·      Strengthen their social connections.
·      Develop new skills.
·      Boost their contribution to their communities.
·      Increase their confidence.

With a new Chair Liam McDaid-Jones and a new set of organisation values, it is an exciting time for the charity.

We want to say thank you to all our supporters and friends who have helped us on our journey so far and continue to help us improve the lives of many young people.

We look forward to working with you all over the next three years.
