Mcr Social groups summer sessions

Our Mcr Social group have been very busy over the summer holidays, and have done 17 activities in total!
The summer activities included:
- Bowling at DogBowl
- Going to HOME cinema
- Arcade
- Tree tops at Zip World
- Video gaming at Pixel Bar
- Football
- Basketball
- BMX Cycling
- Boating and seeing the farm at Heaton Park
- Arts and crafts
- Sweet Dreams at Factory International
- Manchester Museum
- Science and Industry Museum
- Making sculptures at Clay Studio
- Climbing
The Mcr Social programme is a great way for some of the disabled and neurodivergent young people we support to experience new fun things with their friends.
Some of the young people who came along to the sessions said:
“I find the sessions very inclusive; it makes me feel very safe.”
“The sessions have been brilliant, the gaming centre, the BMX track and the Zip World session, it is very good!”
Over the summer GMYN had 30 different young people take part in an amazing 17 Mcr Social sessions.
