HATCH Employability Programme Relaunches for 2023

March 8th, 2023

GMYN are preparing to relaunch the HATCH Employability Programme in partnership with UK Youth.

HATCH is an employability programme for young people aged 16-25 who are looking for work, but need some support along the way. The programme is aimed at young people in Greater Manchester who are not in education, employment or training, or may be at risk of being so.

What does it involve?

The programme is built around a mixture of employability workshops and real world work experience:

  • 15 to 20 hours of pre-employment workshops at GMYN
  • 4 weeks of paid work experience (16 hours per week) at KFC or an alternative employer
  • Interview practise
  • End of course celebration
  • Guaranteed job interview with KFC upon completion

How do I sign up?

The programme will be split into 6 separate cohorts of young people, with varying start dates between March and October 2023 – for more information on dates take a look at the programme flyer or get in touch.

Contact Joe Webster on 07396 519 052 or email joe.webster@gmyn.co.uk for more information and to book your place!
